In 1968 the Island had over 5000 people,,, Fishing ..Mostly cod... The offshore fishing boats came.. and the people lost their livlihood,,,Today we are around 2300 people... we Fish,.. Have a new tourist eco economy... Tourism... I had Rabbit stew for supper... and have a frezer srocked with local hunted meat and fish... ..root vegetables are good...
